AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

We're looking for an AI Engineer (m/f/d) to join our fast-paced incubator squad, focused on transforming automotive data into intelligent, AI-driven solutions. In this role, you’ll design and develop agentic software systems that power new business ideas from concept to prototype. If you're passionate about innovation, autonomous systems and shaping the future of mobility, we want to hear from you.

You will design and build these autonomous or semi-autonomous software agents
You will implement workflows where software can take initiative, reason, and act towards goals - not just execute static code
You will work with AI models, orchestration tools, APIs and data pipelines to bring intelligent agents to life in real-world contexts (like automotive, in your case)
You will mix traditional software engineering with AI system design and product innovation

Who you are and what you bring:

Python, TypeScript, or similar – strong coding skills in modern, versatile languages
Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic behavior (planning, memory, tool use)
Experience with vector databases or knowledge graphs is a big plus
Cloud & DevOps familiarity – deploying prototypes using tools like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
Comfortable working in an incubator or startup-like environment – fast-paced, exploratory, iterative
Fluent in English and German (both C1)
