Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d)

The impact you'll have
In this role as a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for investigating relationships in our data warehouse and our data lake, creating reports and Tableau dashboards. You will help the company and its customers making the right decisions, based on the right data and by creating the right visualizations.
More specifically, you will:
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, to generate actionable insights 
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security. Manage and maintain data infrastructure 
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to colleagues and customers
  • Present results or help colleagues prepare for client presentation. 
  • Work with business teams to understand data needs and to provide analytical support 
  • Apply statistical and analytical methods to solve complex business problems and improve processes
  • Identify potentials for automation, including machine learning applications
  • Work with AI-curated data, run and visualize AI pipelines, all in collaboration with data scientists
Who you are and what you bring:
  • Fluent in German and English (both C1 level)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, MongoDB QL, and a specific data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI. 
  • Diligent in checking data quality and in falsifying hypotheses. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to apply the scientific process to gain knowledge, good understanding of limitations of analyses. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Great team player with the ability to work independently. 
  • Keeping up with the latest trends in data analytics/business intelligence and keen to applying them in your job. 
  • Defining KPIs and benchmarks. 
  • Able to create visually appealing dashboards
  • Presence in our Munich office is required, with the option to work from home two days a week
